Dear God, (name your God)

As you shower Los Angeles with your grace, please wash my sins away.

Please protect this nation and its people. Give its leaders the wisdom to know the difference. Place your love into their hearts. And, especially, its president, Donald Trump.

Please Lord, turn his arrogance into humility; his ignorance into knowledge; and his greed into the love of serving others.

For the sake of those of us who serve you, please make COVID-19, this unseen enemy vanish and disappear. Please heal the sick and ill. And have mercy on the ones who left us.

Amen 🙏
