Racism is not only a sickness, it is a crime.
Unfortunately, we are guilty of it. Reflect and be honest with yourself.
How many Black friends do you have?
How many White friends do you have?
How many Muslims, Jews or Christians friends do you have?
How many Asians, Latino, Africans or European friends do you have?
Not standing the above, how many disabled persons do you employ, or helped them complete their degrees in your school, let alone having them as friends?
You are a loner! I see. I hear you. Haha. So am I. So am I.
Let me whisper this in your right wing racist ear. These police officers individually are not racists. They are our brothers and sisters, daughters and sons. Collectively however, they are a programmed heartless machines; soldiers of a racist hierarchy. Under the honest order of protect and serve, they have protected and sustained the culture of a racist establishment and served its interests by maintaining its unjust status quo.
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming?
Until we become a better nation and a better people: Racism is not only a sickness, it is a crime.
