The Solution for Logical Decisions, and Emotional Decisions
During one of my leadership sessions last week, I was asked, “what makes a good leader on the spot?” Meaning a person in a current leadership / management position, but with a little leadership training, or no experience.
Simply, without hesitation, I pulled the old trick I was taught when I was young and inexperienced:
Balance your logical decisions with a bit of an emotional touch, so they will be flexible and easily followed through. And balance your emotional decisions with a bit of a logical touch, so they will be straightforward.
Stray away from this approach, and your decisions will be out of touch!
