My Neighbor Is A Homeless Man

My Neighbor Is A Homeless Man

by Abraham Khoureis, Ph.D., M.A.

In my towns, Glendale-Eagle Rock, California, there are many beautiful high rise hotels and motels.

On a daily basis they end their daily shifts with hundreds of rooms vacant. While on the adjacent side of these establishments several homeless, including elderly and mentally disabled sleep on the ground in dirty tents, some even without food.

In the meantime, at 5:30pm, my beautifully designed local God’s House of Worship closes its doors.
